The National Database Program began in response to the need for
a centralized information about programming across non-government organizations
and the development sector, as well as to provide improved information access
to rural communities about available support.
The program covers each of the 13 districts across the country
and aims to support coordination and communication between civil society,
international agencies, donors and government bodies. This includes many
developmental sectors and priorities including: humanitarian support, community
development, education, health, agriculture, disaster risk management, youth
and child protection, justice and human rights, and peace building.
The program continues to improve year on year in its community
reach and intra-sector information sharing capabilities with the data being
used to support a number of coordination forums, including the Peace Building
Working Group.
